Apraxia conference to focus on kids

Parents, educators, professionals and other stakeholders in the apraxia community are invited to be part of an upcoming conference that is the only major one of its kind in the country, and it has been planned for this July.

Apraxia is a condition that affects an individual’s motor coordination, and in children, it can impact their speech, learning and general life needs. The North Versailles area 2019 Apraxia Kids National Conference will run for three days, and one of the evenings will be dedicated to a cruise for grownups only. This will give the attendees a chance to network with other families and discuss what they have learned during the day.

The event will open with a day of pre-conference activities, and the symposium itself will begin the following day. Speakers, lunch and learns, breakout sessions and other learning opportunities are all included in the schedule, and there will also be a raffle and other fun.

Tickets are now available for anyone who would like to secure their spot in the conference. The fee starts at $285, and continuing education units (CEUs) may be available for professionals who participate. Promotional Products for a large event like this can be produced by Print shops at a price that can easily fit into the overall budget for the occasion.

Sheraton Pittsburgh hotel at Station Square will be the venue for this event. It will run from July 11 until 13.
