For the past 80 years, The Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce has served as a collective voice for business in Doylestown and the surrounding area, and it has a soiree in the works to celebrate the occasion.
The Chamber's 80th anniversary is fast approaching, and its "Dance Thru the Decades” gathering will pay tribute to its past and present while keeping an eye to the future. Everyone is invited to wear attire from their favorite era, and Holy Hedge Estate in Ivyland has been chosen to serve as the event’s venue.
The activity is open to both new Chamber members and those who have been part of the group for a long time, and the live entertainment for the evening will be supplied by Fred Astaire Dance Studio. There will be gourmet food stations and an open bar, and everyone can show off their own moves on the dance floor. A live auction and networking will round out the festivities.
An event that celebrates the history of an organization may be particularly meaningful to those who take part. A poster printing company will be happy to prepare oversized pictures that showcase its past and present work to use as decor.
This chance to dance through the decades will welcome ticketholders on Friday, March 27. The festivities will begin at 6:00 pm.
