A series of three financially focused workshops is on the way to Doylestown, and they may help those who attend to be more proactive when it comes to managing their money.
The Money and Me series of workshops, which has been organized by Doylestown Township Parks and Recreation, kicks off its schedule near the end of the month. Dates have also been set for September and October, and each will cover a different topic.
The schedule will open with a discussion of managing debt and also how to be prepared should a financial emergency arise. It will also explore budgeting. The September installment will introduce the art of home buying, and will cover everything from applying for a mortgage to understanding closing costs. October’s is geared towards anyone interested in starting their own small business. Each workshop will be free of charge, and support for the initiative has been provided by Key Bank.
Classes, workshops, and other learning activities may compress a lot of information into a small amount of time. Additional learning materials can be prepared by Stationery printers, which can also provide promotional Pens, Notebooks, and other custom items.
The Money and Me series of workshops begins on August 28, and it will return on September 25 and October 23, all of which are Thursdays. Both residents and non-residents may register, and each class will take place at 425 Wells Road in Doylestown.
