Pollinators play a vital role in the ecosystems they inhabit, and a Doylestown outing will pay them a visit in their natural habitat.
Butterflies, bees and other pollinators will be the stars of the show for a walk that will visit Heritage Conservancy’s Jackson Pond Preserve. It will provide opportunities to both learn and take a variety of photos, and is scheduled for the evening hours.
The excursion will be led by Jim Drennan who is Heritage Conservancy Land Conservation’s Manager, and he will be joined by photographer Barry Rauhauser. They will share information about the native species of plants and animals encountered as well as tips for taking high quality photos of the natural world. The group will visit the venue’s pollinator meadow, and all levels of photographic and hiking ability are encouraged to participate. Tickets start at $10.00 for members and $15.00 for non-members.
A guided walk or other excursion can be a fun and interactive way for the public to learn about wildlife. Printed species checklists, field Journals paired with promotional Pens for making notes on the go and other materials for an activity can be prepared by a brochure printing company.
Jackson’s Pond Preserve will be welcoming this facilitator led outing on July 24th. It will take to the trail at 5:00 pm, and more details about the activity and its organizers can be found on the Conservancy's website.
