A new program that gives kids a safe place to hang out, do homework, have fun, and receive academic help is available in Bala Cynwyd.
Dubbed the Homework Bar & Lounge and run by Education2Enrichment, the establishment is a place for students to be around other kids and study in a loosely structured environment. Recreational options such as pool tables and ping pong tables are available for when kids need a homework break, as are snacks.
The Brainchild of Ronit Tehrani, the Homework Bar & Lounge offers various clubs such as culinary arts, yoga, and art. Tehrani says she considers it her mission to help kids achieve academic success by providing a safe atmosphere in which they can get have fun while they learn. The bar offers specialized tutoring as well.
Two membership models are available for the Bar & Lounge. The first, a gold package, is $395 per month while the other, a silver package, is $295 per month. Each package includes unlimited access, free Wi-Fi, and one hour of complimentary subject coaching.
Enterprises that rely on a monthly membership program can benefit greatly from the services of a flyer printing service.
In the future, Education2Enrichment may provide a pickup service to local middle and high schools if it sees a demand. It was reported this month that about 20 families have signed up for membership.
