Bala Cynwyd residents looking for a unique date destination, or an outdoor venue to catch up with friends, may be checking out the upcoming Franklin Square Food Truck Festivus.
Many in Bala Cynwyd are already familiar with Franklin Park, which is home to a range of special events throughout the year.
A variety of foods will be available and attendees can select entrees and sides from Mamas Meatballs, The Grill Cheese, Seouful Philly, Oink and Moo BBQ, and Farm Truck Philly. Moreover, the Cow and Curd will be on hand with its fried cheese curds.
For dessert, patrons can top off their meal with Baby’s Ice Cream or Sweet Box Cupcakes. LeMoNaDe – which specializes in fresh-squeezed drinks – will be there to quench thirsts, and a pop-up beer garden will be on hand as well.
Food trucks are becoming increasingly popular but because they move around, many people who really enjoy a particular truck are only able to enjoy their selections on a hit-and-miss basis.
