Bala Cynwyd virtual symposium to explore drug development process

Bala Cynwyd researchers, doctors, advocates and other members of the rare disease community will be among the delegates at the RARE Drug Development Symposium, which will be held online in early summer of 2021.

This two-day-long event, which will be hosted thanks to support from the Penn Medicine Orphan Disease Center, will offer an introduction to the drug development process. It was noted that it may be of interest to anyone impacted by a rare disease, and all the attendees will be invited to explore the role they have to play in the creation of new medications and treatments.

The plans for the function include speaker presentations and other activities , and one of the topics that will be on the agenda will be CureAccelerator Live. It was explained that COVID-19 has resulted in a variety of setbacks in the field, and this will also be included in the discussion.

Even though an event like this may be offered online, the participants often appreciate receiving hard Copies of Brochures, reports ,and other materials. These can be crafted by area Print shops, which will be able to use Variable Data printing and other technology to address each individually.

The tentative date for the RARE Drug Development Symposium will be June 1, 2021. It will take place online, and more information is available on the Global Genes website.
