Bala Cynwyd to learn benefits of native plants

Native plants can be a good choice for almost any garden, and thanks to an upcoming sale, Bala Cynwyd home horticulturalists will soon be able to add some new species to their collection.

Stoneleigh - A Natural Garden has made plans to host an event that will help the gardening public to purchase native species. These cultivars will be well suited to the local growing conditions, offer ease of care, and can also attract bees, birds, and other wildlife.

The organizers of the activity noted that buyers can expect to find at least 150 varieties included in the sale, and for the safety of all the participants, they will be able to make their selections online. Their purchases will be available for pickup in May, and members of Natural Lands will be offered a chance to shop a day ahead of the general public.

Organizing an activity like this often includes ordering a variety of marketing materials from a poster printing company. These will help to spread the word throughout the local community, helping to make sure the fundraiser will be a big success.

Anyone who would like to take advantage of this opportunity to add some new native plants to their own garden will be able to make their selections during April, and the plants will be ready to go to their new homes on May 1, 2, and 8. They will be available at 1829 East County Line Road in Villanova.
