The area will be extending the golfing season by hosting a charitable day out on the links.
Whitemarsh Valley Country Club will be rolling out the welcome mat for an event that will raise both funds and awareness for the American Living Organ Donor Fund. This organization advocates for those who have made the decision to donate an organ while they are still alive, and it is a registered 501(c)(3) charity.
The day will open with lunch so the players can meet, mingle and get to know one another before the games begin. After this, they will take to the course for a shotgun start, which will be followed by a mixer at the open bar. Everyone will be treated to butler passed appetizers, and after this, dinner will be presented. The occasion will wrap up with speaker remarks, prize awards, and also a raffle draw.
For many functions, raising awareness is just as important as raising funds, and a printing services company will be happy to help. It can use brochure printing techniques to create informational materials to hand out, as well as an assortment of other items for the occasion.
This fall golf outing is on the agenda for October 17. Registration will be on offer starting at 10:30 am. Taking part costs $350 per golfer or $1,200 for a foursome.
