Pumpkins and other gourds are a popular choice when it comes to fall home decor, and a crafting class planned for the Bala Cynwyd area will transform these vegetables into a fall planter centerpiece.
A class is on the way for the area that will see learners discover how they can use a small pumpkin and some easy-to-care-for succulents to create a handmade piece of floral decor. Tickets are $55 each, and this covers the cost of materials, as well as instruction.
Each crafter in the session will use their choice of a ghost or Cinderella pumpkin as the base for their arrangement, and it will serve as a long-lasting container for the plants. The succulents will then be added, and since glue will not be used, they should survive and thrive. The learners will receive tips and advice about how to care for the new green members of their household, including how to move them to a new container when they outgrow their gourd.
Along with the crafting class, each attendee will be treated to complimentary wine and a tour of the venue. Printed Copies of care sheets and other items needed for such an event can be prepared by local Print shops.
This hands-on workshop will be on offer on October 6th, and tickets will be available until October 5th. Philadelphia’s Glen Foerd, which is located at 5001 Grant Avenue, will be the location for the class.Get a Free Quote for Copies Get a Free Quote for Print
