The option of going vegan is a choice many people from Bala Cynwyd have chosen to make, but it can be challenging. The Peace Advocacy Network is offering a program that can help people to make the switch.
The organization has created its Vegan Pledge Program, which will offer 30 days of support and other assistance to those who are considering choosing a plant based lifestyle. It will incorporate a variety of hands on learning, and there’s no cost to take part.
The group who registers for this initiative will meet five times to discuss a variety of issues, and these will include presentations from an assortment of speakers. They will also work with an experienced vegan mentor, and there will also be optional activities that encourage these “vegheads in training” to socialize and get to know one another.
One of the components of the program that may be especially helpful to the registrants is the care packages. These will contain an assortment of Corporate Gifts and other items, and can provide support at any time of the day or night.
Peace Advocacy Network will be offering this learning opportunity starting on Sunday, February 9. The classes will be held once a week after that for five weeks, and they will be held at 27 Conshohocken State Road.
