This August, Bala Cynwyd families will be setting sail for fun when they attend a local event that will be filled with pirate-themed adventure.
The Bala Cynwyd Library has organized an activity for kids ages 4 to 7, as well as their parents or guardians, and it's been requested that everyone register in advance to help with planning. They will be asked to indicate the number of children and adults in their party, and there's no participation fee.
The host for the celebration will be the library’s Red Pirate Captain, and attendees can meet this costumed character in person. There will be pirate stories read to the crowd as well as a variety of themed and active fun, and everyone can try their luck at hunting for hidden treasure. It will run for one hour on a Friday morning, and the registration system opens on July 11th.
