Parents on the hunt for a summer activity for their kids may want to check out an offering that is available to Bala Cynwyd families.
Sky Soup Art Center has created a summer day camp that will explore the world of plants and animals through artistic expression. The campers will be encouraged to get as creative as they can, and its intended for youngsters who are from ages 4 to 12.
The campers will learn about flowers and pollinators by making tissue paper blossoms, crafting an insect hotel and drawing a variety of plants. They will also press flowers and leaves, and making a wind whirler and kokedama and other projects are also on the agenda.
Each child will need to supply their own lunch and snack, and every day will include time for free play. The registration price is $240 per child, and spaces are now available for booking. Uniforms for the counsellors and facilitators as well as any legal Forms needed for this sort of function can all be prepared by area printing services companies.
The Flora and Fauna Camp will be hosted at the Sky Soup Art Center from August 24th until August 28th. Each day will run from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm, and conclude with time for the campers to enjoy some free play until it’s time for pick up by their parent or guardian.
