A library in Bala Cynwyd has issued an invitation to one and all to attend a function planned in support of the institution.
The Penn Wynne Public Library has organized a fundraising evening dubbed “Appetite for Books,” and it will take place in mid-May. It will raise monies to help meet its expenses and also purchase new materials, and several area eateries will be preparing an assortment of bites for the occasion.
The attendees will be treated to both food and drinks, and local small businesses including Chaddsford Winery, Cool as a Cuc, Primo Hoagies, and other establishments will be showing off their food and beverage offerings. Everyone will be invited to try their luck bidding on the Corporate Gifts in the silent auction, and a raffle is in the works as well. The celebration is for those aged 21 and up.
A fundraising event that features food and drinks can attract a lot of attention. A poster printing company can craft marketing materials to deploy in prominent locations in a community to help get the word out to as many as possible.
Appetite for Books will be treating ticketholders to an evening of food and fun on Saturday, May 11. It will be held at 130 Overbrook Parkway, and the doors will open at 7:00 pm.
