There's a wide world of career choices out there for today’s kids, and a Bala Cynwyd area summer camp will offer an introduction to fashion design and textiles.
Kids from ages five to twelve will be learning about the basics of clothing design, and will work with a variety of textiles. Each will be able to craft their own look – some may choose one that is haute couture, while others prefer one more of a superhero style.
The camps are scheduled to take pace in the mornings, so the afternoons are free for the campers to enjoy other summertime fun. They will each be assigned an artist’s figure to design clothing for and dress, and they will be encouraged to be as creative as they can. All levels of ability are welcome, and parents or guardians are reminded to send a small snack with their child.
