Now that their kids have left the nest, many of Bala Cynwyd's older adults will be considering downsizing, and they may want to attend an upcoming workshop before they tackle this project.
An information session may help to make downsizing a lot easier, where the facilitators will share their knowledge live and in person. Narberth Borough Hall will be the venue for the occasion, and a light lunch of chicken marsala will be served. The suggested donation for participants is $2.
Presenters will include realtors, a downsizing expert, a mortgage specialist, and a community aide. They will provide practical tips that can take some of the headache out of choosing which items to keep and which to dispose of or pass along to a new owner. Everyone will learn about some of the local resources that may be helpful to them, and questions from the crowd will be welcome.
Members of the public may appreciate the chance to learn some new skills, and an information session offers the chance to do this. A flyer printing company can prepare both marketing materials and handouts for an activity.
The Bala Cynwyd area is invited to take advantage of this opportunity to get the insider's details on downsizing next Sunday, May 11. Anyone interested can register in advance through the New Horizons Senior Living Center website.
