Tours and dancing included in Ambler events

As spring begins, the Ambler community will be able to enjoy afternoon walks and evening parties.

The Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association (WVWA) will celebrate the Maple Sugaring Festival by taking groups on tours of the harvested maple trees. Groups will also see the syrup processed into sugar before entering a historic barn to get warm and enjoy waffles, maple syrup, hot cocoa, and more. Each tour is 45 minutes long, with the last tour of the day at 3:00 pm.

WVWA member tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for kids age 12 and under. Nonmember tickets are $10 per adult and $5 per child. Friends, family, and scout troops are welcome. The WVWA is located at 12 Morris Road.

The Conshy Girls Restaurant Group is hosting The Philly Keys at Gypsy Blu. It will include dancing, music, and comedy. Gypsy Blu is located at 34 East Butler Avenue.

The cost to attend is $20. Guests are encouraged to buy tickets before the event because it may sell out, but tickets will be sold at the door if they are still available.

The Maple Sugaring Festival is on March 1 from noon to 3:00 pm, while the Philly Keys will play on March 13 from 8:00 pm until 11:00 pm.

Organizations use flyer printing to let the community know about upcoming events.
