The Ambler Theater is holding their own event in February to help the residents of Pennsylvania become a part of the 2017 Academy Awards presentation.
The theater has partnered with other area businesses to make the night as exciting and memorable as possible. Only reserved seating is available, so all interested guests will need to purchase tickets in advance.
The evening of the 89th awards ceremony will begin with dinner at a participating restaurant. Several restaurants in town are offering one-night only specials for the event. Guests arriving at the theater will enter by walking the red carpet. While socializing, everyone will have access to a wine and beer bar and can enjoy other snacks and refreshments provided by local businesses. A complimentary champagne toast is included with the ticket price.
All three screens will broadcast the awards ceremony live. Guests have the ability to pick who they believe will receive each award from ballots at their seat. All correct answers earn guests a raffle prize entry and prize winners will be announced during commercial breaks.
Residents unable to attend the February 26 could consider hosting their own Academy Awards party at their home.
