All Ambler children and parents are invited to greet Santa as he arrives for his traditional pre-Christmas stop in town.
An annual tradition continues as Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive at the Ambler Train Station for a visit with local children. Everyone is invited to meet the honored guests at the train station as they arrive. The Clauses will greet the children upon arrival before the crowd walks together to Borough Hall.
After the arrival at the hall, Santa will pass out special treats to all the children in attendance, and Mrs. Claus will read a holiday story to the crowd.
Parents should bring their cameras to the event for some wonderful photo opportunities for their printing services. All children that wish to meet Santa need to request a number upon arrival at the train station. Children visit with Santa in numerical order, so do not forget to get a ticket. Each child will have the chance to sit on Santa’s lap for a picture and to let him know what they would like for gifts this year. During the wait, guests can enjoy a snack of cookies and milk.
The train arrives at the Ambler Train Station at 35 West Butler Pike in Ambler at 7:00 PM on December 6. There is no fee for the event at the train station or Borough Hall. Participants are advised to dress warmly.
