The Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia is hosting its annual golf event in Ambler this summer.
The Golf Classic will begin at noon with lunch, and the putting green and driving range will also open. Golfers can compete for the longest drive and closest to the pin. The shotgun start will take place at 1 pm and the game will use a four-person scramble format. The awards banquet will start at 6 pm and include two hours of an open bar. Awards will recognize the overall scramble and contest winners. Winners will also be chosen for a 50/50 and other raffles.
The event is open to everyone in the area. Those interested should sign up through Eventbrite. The cost is $200 per player or $775 per foursome. Businesses can also purchase sponsorships on the Eventbrite page. Sponsors will be recognized on Signs and in a printed ad book. Organizations often work with Print shops to create these materials.
The Barrister’s Association of Philadelphia supports Black lawyers in the city and surrounding region. It hosts seminars and other events and provides scholarships and other support for law students. Funds raised during the golf event will support those programs.
The Annual Barristers’ Golf Classic will take place on Monday, July 15 from 12 pm to 8 pm at Talamore Country Club in Ambler.
