The Ninth Annual Athletic Wall of Fame Golf Outing will be hosted by Hatboro-Horsham High School in Ambler next month.
The Wall of Fame was launched in 2008 to recognize and honor individuals who have brought distinction and pride to the athletic programs of the high school through their accomplishments. These individuals can include coaches, athletes, and teams who demonstrated leadership and skill, and represented the athletic programs of the high school in a positive manner while they were involved in the school district.
New members to the Wall of Fame are inducted by the committee every other year. The selection committee is the repository of nominations and inducts no more than four teams, athletes, or coaches at one time. Names of nominees can remain in consideration for a maximum of five years.
Lunch at 11:00 am will start the event. At 12:30 pm, players can go the green. There is an entry fee of $120, which covers the lunch, green fees, drinks, and food while on the course, and a dinner after completing the rounds of the course.
The golf outing will be held at Old York Road Country Club on October 3. Hatboro-Horsham High School might consider various printing services to create materials that can be sent to businesses, alumni, and others in the community to sponsor holes at a cost of $150, $250, or $500.
