Ambler's popular fresh-air market reopens for the summer in just over a month’s time.
Downtown Ambler will again be filled with the sights and scents of fresh produce, home-baked goods, and many other local products as the farmers' market begins its new season. Once up and running, it will be held every Saturday in downtown Ambler from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, rain or shine, through October.
The market began in 2013 and has continued to grow. Last year, there were 17 vendors displaying their wares that included fresh dairy products, local coffee, regionally produced wine, and even specially baked dog treats. The event draws crowds of locals and visitors alike and is an opportunity to introduce people to what a business has to offer, for example by printing out Posters or preparing some Promotional Products.
Beginning on Saturday, May 6t, everyone is invited and well-behaved pets are welcome. The Ambler Farmers’ Market has no admission fee and the vendors accept SNAP/EBT benefits. Assistance is available at the market manager tent for anyone that wants to learn how to make the most of their benefits.
