Chamber to host social media training in Ambler

The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Montgomery County is hosting an educational session on social media marketing in Ambler this fall.

“Are you Social?” will include light breakfast and a presentation. The talk will cover what the most popular social media platforms are, their key similarities and differences and how each platform can be part of a business’s marketing plan. Lauren Kane, the marketing manager at Harth Builders, will lead the presentation. Harth Builders is a local home construction, design and remodeling company.

The Lower Gwynedd Business Association (LGBA) is running the event. LGBA was founded in 2012 as an independent group for local businesses. It began hosting joint programs with the Chamber in 2014 and combined its finances with the Chamber in 2022.

Those planning to attend the session can sign up on the Chamber’s website. The event is free for members and costs $20 per person for non-members. LGBA is partnering with the Ambler YMCA and the Knights of Columbus to collect coats for those in need. Attendees can bring either new or gently used coats in sizes 2T to XXL for kids and teens or any adult sizes. Organizations often use flyer printing services to promote their events.

“Are you Social?” will take place on Tuesday, October 22 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at Ambler Yards.
