The 24th annual Ambler Auto Show will be held next month, bringing car enthusiasts together and launching the auto show season in the Delaware Valley.
Held in support of the many restaurants and shops in downtown Ambler, the auto show will feature more than 200 classic cars and trucks. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about each vehicle from the owners, and vote for their favorites to win an award. Trophies are awarded on behalf of the event’s Major Sponsor, the Best in Show award courtesy of Al Whitcomb, and the Top 50 Cars.
Al Whitcomb was the chairman of the Auto Show for many years. The car that receives the most votes is awarded the trophy each year, and the vehicle will be positioned in a place of honor at the following year’s show.
Each exhibitor will receive a dash plaque specially designed to commemorate the event. A limited number of Ambler Auto Show shirts will be available for purchase on the morning of the event. Professional printing services are often used to create event Apparel for shows such as these.
The 2021 Ambler Auto Show will be held on Saturday, August 29, from 1:00 to 6:00 PM. Vehicles will be parked along Butler Avenue. Attendees are encouraged to frequent the various shops in the downtown area, as well as enjoy food from the many local restaurants and food trucks. The event is free to attend, and will not be canceled if it rains. Parking information is available on the Ambler Main Street website.
