The Bounce U event, sponsored by Kamp for Kids, takes place next month and is designed specifically for the needs of young autistic children.
Kamp for Kids is an organization dedicated to raising funds for disabled and underprivileged children. The funds go to enable these children to attend camps, take trips, and become a part of many other opportunities that might have been out of their reach otherwise. The group has planned the Bounce U event to give autistic children a chance to enjoy an activity often too chaotic for them.
The Bounce U event includes a fun day of bounce house activities. All autistic children from the ages of 4 to 11 can attend along with their family members. The details of the event were specially designed to create a comfortable environment for autistic children, and to enable the event to stay enjoyable, this includes limiting the number of child attendees to 100. Organizers therefore recommend that parents register early to ensure a spot for their child.
Parents can bring a camera for later poster printing at their favorite Print shop after the happy event, and should visit the Eventbrite website to register.
Registration is free, but the staff needs to know how many children and adults will be in each group.
The event is on February 16 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Bounce U located at 420 Babylon Road in Horsham. Parents with questions can contact Penni Morton at penni49@comcast.net for more information.
