Arts and Music Festival to return to downtown Ambler

Ambler is hosting its annual Arts and Music Festival on Butler Avenue this June.

The event features two days of free concerts and more than 85 artists and crafters selling their work. Local restaurants will offer extra outdoor seating, drinks will be available for purchase at a wine tent, and two beer gardens and vendors will offer additional food and drink options. All of the art vendors will be selling original art or items they personally made by hand. These will include acrylic and watercolor paintings, jewelry, sculptures, and fiber pieces. Vendors often use banner printing services to display their business names at their tables at this type of event.

The music lineup includes a variety of genres, from Philadelphia-based eight-member funk and soul band Ndichu to Southern rock and gospel-inspired duo Fallon’s Religion. The full schedule and information about the performers are available on the event website.

The festival is open to attendees of all ages. A Family Zone with kids’ activities like sand art and face painting will be open on Butler Ave. between Lindenwold and Race. Concert seating will be limited, so the organizers suggest that attendees bring their own chairs.

The Ambler Arts and Music Festival will start on Friday, June 13 at 6:00 pm and continue on Saturday, June 14 from 12:30 pm to midnight, rain or shine.
