Ambler will hold its 25th Annual Auto Show this May.
Known locally as the “Best Little Car Show Around,” Ambler’s auto show features more than 200 classic cars, trucks, and motorcycles. The event takes place in the center of town, with Butler Avenue closed for the day between Lindenwold Avenue and Main Street. Visitors of all ages can walk around, explore the cars on display and visit local shops and restaurants.
A selection of food trucks will be parked on Ridge Avenue for additional dining options. Juke Box Junkie will play music throughout the afternoon.
Awards will be presented at 5:00 pm. They will recognize the best in show, as well as the top 30 cars on display. The Al Whitcomb Memorial Best In Show award is named in honor of the late Mr. Whitcomb, who served as the event’s chairman for many years.
The event is free for attendees, but there is an entrance fee for car owners of $15 in advance or $20 the day of the show. Proceeds benefit Ambler Main Street, the town’s business and community development organization. All entrants will receive an Ambler Auto Show canvas tote bag, which includes a welcome packet and Promotional Products from the event’s sponsors. T-Shirts will also be available to purchase.
The Auto Show will take place on Sunday, May 15, from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, rain or shine.
