Ambler will host its annual Arts and Music Festival this June.
The two-day festival will feature local artists, live music, and outdoor dining. Nine bands and musicians are scheduled to perform a variety of genres throughout the weekend, and the concerts are all free to attend. Provided seating will be limited, so attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs.
More than 85 artists and vendors will sell items including original watercolor paintings, cross-stitched pieces, soy candles, plants, wooden bowls and more. Artists often use banner printing services to help promote their brands at this type of community event. Many of Ambler’s restaurants will be set up for outdoor dining. Restaurants will also serve food at street fair-style booths, and there will be a wine tent and two beer gardens.
The beer gardens and paid parking will only accept cash. Butler Avenue and some surrounding streets will be closed during the festival. The event is family-friendly and will include a Family Zone with face painting, sand art and other activities for kids. The Ambler Arts and Music Festival will take place on Friday, June 16, from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm and Saturday, June 17, from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm.
