The Ambler Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) is hosting an Earth Fest event this spring.
The family-friendly event’s theme is investment in the future. Food trucks and tents will sell vegan and fair-trade snacks and coffee, and musicians will perform throughout the event. The Ambler Library will run a story time for kids. Attendees will be able to browse wares from a selection of sustainability-focused vendors, ranging from a solar energy provider to a goat’s milk skincare brand. Local artists will display pieces that are either sustainably made or focused on the environment.
The fair will also give attendees the opportunity to talk to representatives from different environmental businesses and groups, including a trail management group, composting service, and Ambler’s community garden. Electric vehicle owners will display their cars and answer questions.
Earth Fest is a free event, though there will be products available for purchase. The EAC is a conservation group that works with the local government to support eco-friendly initiatives. Environmental organizations often use Logo Design services to ensure that they’re presenting a consistent image at all of their events and programs.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 29, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, in the Cavalier and Ambler Borough Hall parking lots. In case of severe weather, the rain date will be the following day, Sunday, April 30.
