Terrarium Therapy invites the public to participate in a painting event at a local pub in Ambler next month.
The Gritty Succulent Planter Workshop will take place at Tannery Run Brew Works at 131 East Butler Avenue. Each guest will paint a pot in the shape of Gritty, the mascot of the Philadelphia Flyers. An instructor will be available to help. Then, guests will have a choice of the succulent plant or cactus to go into the pot once the paint dries.
According to Terrarium Therapy, this event will be an enjoyable and one-of-a-kind way to manage stress and get creative. The cost is $39 per planter and includes materials, plants, moss, soil, stone, and the instructor's fee.
Individuals, couples, and groups are equally welcome. Guests will receive 20% off their food bill from Tannery Run while the workshop is going on. The workshop is expected to fill up rapidly, so interested parties should buy tickets as soon as possible.
There are no refunds or transfers on tickets. Those unable to attend should email Kim at Terrarium Therapy for options. Registering and paying beforehand is necessary to reserve placement.
This event is on February 22 from noon to 1:30 pm. The Flyers will play at 1:00 pm that day. Flyer printing is used to let the community know about events that may bring the community together, such as sports.
