The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Montgomery County’s Young Professionals group is hosting an informational session about LinkedIn and other social media channels this spring.
Rise Above the Noise will provide tips for how professionals and business owners can make the most the business-focused social media site and increase their following. Photographer Kevin York will give the presentation. He will share his experience of growing his LinkedIn following by 300% in less than one year. His talk will include practical ideas for how to stand out on social media and use LinkedIn and other platforms to find new leads. Attendees will also learn how to find and connect with relevant influencers through social media to create new advertising opportunities.
The event will begin with registration and a continental breakfast from 8:30 to 9:00 am. Attendees often use this time for networking, and they tend to use business card printing services to prepare to exchange contact details. Those planning to attend the event can sign up on the Chamber’s website. It is free for members, and $20 for non-members. The Greater Montgomery County Chamber’s members include professionals and business leaders from Ambler and other towns throughout the county.
Rise Above the Noise will take place on Friday, April 19 from 8:30 to 10:00 am at the AVE Blue Bell Media Theater.
