Ambler Chamber to host networking and discussion session
The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Montgomery County’s Alliance of Women in Business is hosting a networking session and discussion about active listening this February.
This is part of a monthly event series designed to allow members to practice their networking skills, connect with one another and discuss a specific topic. The Chamber includes business leaders and professionals from across Montgomery County, including Ambler and other towns. The event will include time for networking and the opportunity to present a 30-second pitch or commercial to the group. This month’s discussion topic will be active listening. The Alliance plans to teach attendees how to use active listening techniques to create stronger connections and gain a deeper understanding of others’ points. The discussion will include the opportunity to practice these techniques with other attendees.
The event is free to attend, and all Chamber members are welcome. Those attending are asked to register in advance on the Chamber website. Organizations like the Chamber of Commerce often use graphic design services to create digital flyers to promote their events. The parking lot closest to the event location is metered but free until 10:00 am.
