The 3rd Annual Pennsylvania Conference for Notaries is taking place in Ambler this November.
The one-day conference will include several speakers and smaller breakout sessions. There are also extra events for additional networking. These include a reception the night before the conference, breakfast the day of and happy hour afterward. Attendees can choose from multiple breakout sessions on different tracks, which include business skills, personal development and basics for newer notaries. There will also be a marketplace area with representatives of businesses and non-profits in the industry. Representatives often give out promotional Pens and other items during conferences.
Sessions will cover a range of topics, including fraud prevention, social media strategy and options for diversifying income. The keynote speaker is Chad Lauer, the founder and president of Lauer Media Company. He will discuss his expertise in digital marketing and how notaries can use digital advertising to support their businesses.
Tickets are available through Eventbrite now. The cost is $125 per attendee, or $137.50 for two attendees as part of a two-for-one discount. Tickets for the pre-conference reception, the networking breakfast, and the post-conference happy hour are each $25 per person. Lunch is included in the registration price.
The notary conference will take place on Saturday, November 9 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at Temple University’s Ambler Campus.
