The Ambler Theater is launching its annual celebration for the Academy Awards, and this year’s three-day event is designed to appeal to local movie buffs and many others.
Today sees the kick-off for the popular Ambler Academy Awards celebration. The weekend-long event will begin with dinner specials offered by many participating restaurants on Main Street. Themed window decorating will be taking place all weekend in Ambler and volunteers will be handing out SWAG Bags to people around town all weekend.
Tomorrow, everyone is invited downtown to take part in a scavenger hunt. The successful individuals or teams will be those that manage to locate Oscar. The dinner specials and SWAG bag giveaways will continue, and the final event of the weekend is the party and live viewing of the Academy Awards on Sunday evening.
