Unique group to come to Salem

A band that puts a twist on famous tunes will be bringing its show to Salem in early November.

Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox was put together by their namesake back in 2011. Throughout the years, Bradlee has given a multitude of artists a chance in the spotlight. Each song takes a modern hit like “Shake It Off” by Taylor Swift, and totally changes the style in which it is performed, with that particular one given Motown twist. Other songs the group has performed include a ‘60s Girl Group version of “Happier” by Olivia Rodrigo, “Wannabe” by The Spice Girls in the style of The Andrews Sisters, a ‘70s Roller Disco spin on “Sucker” by The Jonas Brothers, and “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee, and Justin Bieber in a Broadway style.

The latest tour will be coming to the Elsinore Theatre. Tickets range in price from $49 to $89, with three levels of seating to choose from. Accessible spots are available on the main floor. Two VIP bundle options are able to be added on for $53 and $103 respectively. Both include a reserved spot, a signed poster, and a laminate. The higher-priced package also has photo and meeting opportunities with some of the performers. Merchandise with the artist’s Logo Design is often for sale at concerts.

Doors to the venue will open at 6:30 pm, with the show kicking off at 7:30 pm on Thursday, November 3.
