Horror film enthusiasts who want to fully indulge in the fright of fall in Salem are in luck, as a cult classic movie is scheduled for a screening in town.
The Blair Witch Project: Film Screening with Q&A is coming to the Elsinore Theatre this October to give scary movie lovers a frighteningly good time. The film, which was released in 1999, quickly became an iconic horror film because of the low-tech equipment and “found footage” style of filming techniques used, which created a higher sense of realism for viewers.
The film’s viral marketing campaign paired with the story of three student filmmakers who went missing in the Maryland woods, and their story being shared through their recovered footage. Film and movie-based events are a great fit for poster printing, as these marketing tools are large enough to capture attention and display images while providing additional information through text.
This screening will bring all three actors to the Elsinore Theatre where they will be on stage and live. The audience can look forward to behind-the-scenes stories from the making of the film. The film screening is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, with the doors of Salem’s Elsinore Theatre opening at 7:30 pm. Tickets can be reserved online, with pricing starting at $48.07 per guest.
