Salem will be kicking off another edition of an annual celebration in late August.
The Oregon State Fair brings together music, livestock displays, contests, food, rides, interactive activities, vendors, and performances to give attendees a unique and exciting experience over the course of 11 days.
Guests can take part in or view shows involving a variety of animals, musicians, and sports. Bull riding, monster truck driving, a demolition derby, a rodeo, and contests highlighting swine, dairy animals, sheep, goats, and llamas are among the competition and exhibition categories. Artists included un the musical lineup are The Beach Boys, Bush, Vanilla Ice, Justin Moore, Young MC, Elle King, Color Me Badd, Chris Janson, Rob Base, Tone Loc, X Ambassadors, and Skillet.
Tickets for every event with separate admission costs can be found on the fair’s website. Fair entry itself is $1 for seniors, $8 for children ages six to twelve, $10 for adults, and $25 for either a family pack containing four tickets or an 11-day pass. Anyone under five years old is able to attend for no cost. The pricing will go up on August 25. The events will be going on between the dates of Friday, August 25 and Monday, September 4.
