Salem program takes creativity to local eatery

A mid-April event from a local business will be held at a Salem restaurant.

Paint Night is an activity by We Make Art (WMA). The company is a traveling studio, holding events at different storefronts and private homes. The artwork made during each activity is different. For this particular instance, the piece will depict a cute little home built into a mushroom, with a bright and cheerful backdrop full of natural elements. The artist from WMA will be traveling with an array of paints, giving individuals options for the color palette of their picture.

The venue for this experience will be Valiant the Sandwich. While the food and beverage come at an additional charge, there is a menu full of options. These include both cold and hot sandwiches, burgers, fries, wings, alcoholic drinks, sodas, and coffee. In order to eat and grab some drinks, guests are advised to arrive for the party a little early.

Tickets for WMA activities are sold directly via Eventbrite. The price for this class is $35, which will include the artist’s instruction and the materials. Even people with no prior experience can enjoy themselves at the event, as the environment is non-judgemental and relaxed. Flyer printing helps artists promote any activities they may choose to open for the public.

The class will run between 6:00pm and 8:00pm on Monday, April 15th.
