Salem's Arrowhead Lavender Farm & Co will be holding its first-ever Mid-Willamette Valley Lavender Festival and Opera in the Lavender Field in mid-July.
The three-day event will allow guests to meander through the farm's lavender fields and pick some colorful aromatic lavender to take home.
Attendees may also enjoy lavender culinary tidbits and lavender lemonade. Live music will be adding to the ambience of the day. There may also be distillations demonstrations.
Local artists and crafters will be selling original hand-crafted items. Food and beverage vendors will include Yerba Buena Tea Company, The Big Scoop, Damascus Treats and Outwest Coffee Co.
Guests may also want to stop in at the farm's gift shop and purchase commemorative items displaying the farm's lavender graphic design.
Parking will be $5 cash and cars are directed to enter the farm's main driveway.
The event will run Friday, July 12th and Saturday July 13th from 10 am to 6 pm, and Sunday July 14th from 10 am to 4 pm at 6373 Sunnyview Road, N.
For a memorable date night, the farm will be presenting Opera in the Lavender Field. The evening will include a charcuterie box catered by Home Sweep Home, sparkling or regular water served in keepsake wine glasses and an opera performance by Portland Renegade Opera.
Opera in the Lavender Field will be held Saturday, July 20th from 6 pm to 9 pm.
