A company based in Salem will be hosting one of its most immersive events in late March, with a special Easter twist.
Build A Bar is an activity taking place at the Chomp! Chocolate factory, where participants can select their favorite toppings to add to a huge bar of chocolate, and design their own label and name for the treat. Also available is access to the Chomp! Chocolate factory’s gift shop, which will have some special items available for the holiday.
When picking items to add to the chocolate, as many as nine treats can be added to a single bar. A few seasonal toppings will also be included, in addition to the usual selection. The chocolate used for the event is Chomp!’s milk chocolate, which uses oat milk in place of dairy. As stated on the organization’s website, the chocolate bars themselves are “vegan, soy-free, and gluten free.” Some toppings may contain gluten, however.
The jumbo chocolate bar is just over four regular sized bars.
There are several times for the activity, taking place at 20-minute increments. 20 spaces are available to reserve in each slot, with the first being 11:00am, and the last slot at 4:40pm.
Tickets may be reserved on Chomp! Chocolate’s website. Each ticket costs $20, and includes one chocolate bar. Merchandise offered in the gift shop will typically include the company Logo Design on it, for attendees to keep as memorabilia.
