Founded by Jenny Nguyen in Northeast Portland to bring together “great food and delicious drinks” and show support for women’s sports. Recently quoted by The Associated Press, Nguyen said:
"Things have happened at light speed compared to what my forecast was. This tiny spot that I built for my friends and I to watch games and give female athletes their flowers means so much more. And not just to me, but to a lot of people."
Banner printing services are frequently used to announce the opening of new venues as well as special events at those venues whether they are sports arenas or a neighborhood watering hole.
Nguyen will share her concept with bars and entrepreneurs elsewhere regardless of whether they currently have a space or simply a business plan. She said what matters in future franchisees of The Sports Bra is that they share the brand’s value of supporting, empowering and promoting females in sports and in the community.
The Sports Bra’s expansion will benefit from funding from a foundation put together by Reddit co-founder and husband of tennis legend Serena Williams, Alexis Ohanian.
The continued success of Nguyen’s vision seems likely as she says she has received hundreds of inquiries already.
