Locals can head over to North Portland for music, food, and fun in celebration of the summer.
The 2015 Mississippi Street Fair is a free event with 200 vendors selling different types of food, jewelry, toys, and other items. Businesses will be hosting booths too.
Attendees can also check out the beer and wine gardens, a dunk tank, and 40 bands on six different stages. There will also be a Grandfather’s Rib Off Competition. Little ones can enjoy the kids’ zone and take part in activities on the children’s stage.
Volunteers are needed to pass out Flyers and other informational handouts. Volunteers can also help with setup and teardown. Those who help will be given a free fair shirt and a token to use at the beer gardens. It is likely a Print company was asked to make promotional materials for the volunteers to distribute.
The fair will take place on July 11 from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm. Judging for the rib competition will take place at 3:00 pm. The dunk tank will be open from 1:00 pm until 5:30 pm.
The event will be held on Mississippi Avenue between North Fremont and North Skidmore Street. Parking is available on the street and in several paid parking lots.
Proceeds from the event will go to benefit Self-Enhancement Inc., Boise Elliot School, and the Boise Youth Unity Youth Project.Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Flyers
