Stages Cycling to host bicycling aid event

Portland’s Stages Cycling LLC is hosting a Stages Studio event, SPARK, which provides participants around the world with 30 days of prescribed workouts, along with virtual camaraderie.

The monies raised will help those dependent on a working bicycle via World Bicycle Relief, Stages’ partner. Participation will cost $25, which covers daily workouts for 30 days, run 24/7. These are available in varying lengths with techniques extending from indoor cycling to high-intensity interval training (HIIT), and yoga to strength. The workouts will be led by industry-leading instructors from around the globe.

Stages’ Director of Education Cameron Chinatti, who is also the SPARK Project Lead, said in the press release that teaming up with World Bicycle Relief will bring an “entirely new meaning” to the power bicycles have.

In addition to distributing custom, locally assembled bicycles in developing countries where distance can prove a barrier to delivering products to market, receiving healthcare, and attending school or work, the company also supports local bike shops in these communities.
