A new part-time, 26-week program qualifying students for in-demand data analytics jobs across Oregon will be provided by Fullstack Academy in conjunction with Oregon State University (OSU) in 2022.
A national provider of tech education, Fullstack Academy’s 26-week bootcamps offer training to individuals of with any level of tech skill. The classes will be provided via the OSU Portland Center.
The dream that many have of upgrading their career and ordering new Business Cards is fueled by continuing their education.
The data analytics sector is growing rapidly and classes being offered will go a long way in filling over 1,536 data analytics positions LinkedIn says are currently available across Oregon. Moreover, it will help Portland and the rest of the state keep pace with what Burning Glass, an analytics software company, reports as an increase in demand over the next 10 years of 21.5%.
At first, Fullstack Academy and OSU Portland Center will be offering a combo of remote and in-person training, pending university, local and state COVID-19 guidelines. The program’s part-time format will make it possible for individuals to remain in the workforce while also participating in the bootcamp and acquiring the necessary skills to enact a career change.
OSU enrollment is not required to attend the data analytics bootcamp, nor is prior technical experience. The application process for the bootcamp will begin this winter, and classes will start in 2022.
