In June 2022, Portland International Raceway will be the venue for a Xfinity Series race, which is a “minor league” circuit in the NASCAR universe.
The race next year will be the first NASCAR series race to be held in Portland in more than 20 years, and it is estimated that the race could be worth $15m to the city’s economy.
Poster printing services are particular effective when an event is far in the future, they serve as a reminder to purchase tickets and then to keep the race date open.
Savoree Racing CEO Kevin Savoree played a big role in securing the race for the city. According to Savoree, the race will tie in with an annual Portland tradition. He explained further:
“Our event falls right in the middle of the Rose Festival, so we’re looking for to celebrating with them. And there’s actually a Rose Cup.”
The fans are excited, with Savoree noting that some from as far away as 500 miles have already made ticket inquiries. In addition to fans, hundreds of people will be in Portland to get involved in the race, such as mechanics, drivers, truck drivers, and TV crews.
Fans are encouraged to start making their plans to attend the June 4 race now, although tickets will not available for purchase until November.
