A two-day event that promises to be fun for the entire family, which has been voted among Oregon’s 50 best events, will be celebrating its 11th anniversary.
The Lego convention known as Bricks Cascade has grown consecutively larger by the year. The 2022 event saw over 1,200 creations from 500 builders and 8,000 attendees.
Hundreds of builders from across the Pacific Northwest, as well as some from around the world, will be on hand with their original Lego-based creations. Attendees will have the option to race their own brick-built car on a derby track, and creation stations will be available for guests to build their own Lego masterpieces.
Visitors will also have many opportunities to purchase vintage, new, and specialized Lego accessories as well as take part in photo ops with novel Lego creations. A Duplo play area will be available for young children to exercise their creative juices with the larger Duplo bricks.
Poster printing services are often called upon by organizers to create memorabilia for sale at special events like this.
Single-day passes cost $12 per person or $44 for a Family 4 Pack. The two-day pass prices are $20 per person or $75 for a Family 4 Pack. Admittance is free for children aged three and under.
Bricks Cascade take place May 13 and 14 at the Oregon Convention Center. Hours are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday and 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday.
