Oregon Humane Society offers December low-cost pet adoption

“Adopt Joy” is a promotion during the month of December by the Oregon Humane Society (OHS) designed to encourage pet adoption in Portland during the holiday season by cutting adoption fees in half for pets that are at least a year old.

OHS Public Information Officer Laura Klink told KPTV:

“Giving a home to a pet in need is one of the best ways to bring joy into your life.”

Pet adoption events are among the many instances where a banner printing services are called upon.

Individuals and families are invited to visit during the month of December and shop for a new best friend or addition to their family. As this is an important decision those members of the public looking for a pet are encouraged to visit and to feel free to make more than one visit to be sure of their decision, if need be.

Up-to-date vaccines, a microchip, spay or neuter services and a free health exam certificate are included with each animal adopted.

During this promotional period both the Portland and Salem OHS campuses will be open for business 10 am to 7 pm every day during the month of December except on Christmas Eve when it will close at 4 pm and on Christmas Day when it will be closed.
