Portland residents can enjoy food, beer, and entertainment at a three-day event taking place shortly.
At ‘The Bite of Oregon’, restaurants will have plates of food for between $2 and $9. Vietnamese, Mediterranean, Cajun, and French are a few types of cuisine that will be offered. Guests can also check out the food trucks, desserts, and specialty food vendors. Some booths will have free samples.
There will be an Oregon Bounty Chef's Table that will offer dishes integrating locally grown items such as berries and potatoes. These items are $5 each, and no doubt a poster printing service has been busy creating large Menus for the event.
Other than eating, guests can enjoy live entertainment on two stages, along with cooking demos, a photo booth, and ‘iron chef’ competitions.
General admission costs $5, and kids aged 12 and under, are free. For $32, there is also a foodie package that includes a beer glass, beer ticket, and chef’s table tickets. For $45, there is a date night package with two admission tickets along with wine, beer, and ice cream tickets. Admission costs $6 at the gate.
The Bite of Oregon takes place on August 7 and 8 from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm and August 9th from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm.
The event will be held at Governor Tom McCall Waterfront Park, located on Southwest Naito Parkway.Get a Free Quote for Menus
