Anyone who appreciates handmade items can take part in a unique holiday shopping experience later this month.
The 7th Annual Formal Holiday Artisans Fair will feature goods from local vendors who have crafted one-of-a-kind products to sell.
Handmade NW is hosting the event. The organization was created to support local artisans rather than big name manufacturers. The community prides itself on promoting quality items and being able to purchase goods directly from the crafter.
To provide a sophisticated shopping atmosphere, the event will take place in a ballroom. In addition, the first 100 shoppers will be given complimentary goodie Bags. Other highlights include live music.
Each year the host works with a nonprofit organization. This year Handmade, NW has formed a partnership with Schoolhouse Supplies, which gives free supplies to public school teachers and students in Portland. Through philanthropic efforts, the organization offers Backpacks to students and a ‘free store’ for educators.
More than 50 vendors will be participating in this event. Many of these crafters have probably used a business card printing service to create a card to give to interested individuals. By using premium paper and foil stamping, a small business owner can make a good impression on customers.
The fair takes place on December 20 from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm at the Red Rose Ballroom, located at 1829 Northeast Alberta Street. Parking is free. Get a Free Quote for Backpacks Get a Free Quote for Bags
