Famous bear comes to Portland

Winnie the Pooh is coming to the Brunish Theatre, as The Metropolitan Performing Arts Academy is puts on a family friendly musical.

The performance features the A. A. Milne character singing a song when Kanga comes along and wants to give everyone a bath. Then, Pooh and his friends try to solve this dilemma.

The show will be presented at the Brunish Theatre, which is one of five venues in Portland’5 Center for the Performing Arts. Each year, the venues attract more than a million people to the cultural district in downtown Portland. Operas, poetry readings, and dance performances are some of the other events that individuals can see at the center.

Along with musicals and other performances, the Brunish Theatre also hosts weddings, conferences, and other formal events. The theater is located near restaurants and various parking areas.

Tickets cost $13.50 for everyone of one year of age and older. Tickets can be purchased online, at the Portland’5 box office, Tickets West Outlets, or by calling 800-273-1530. Additional charges may apply.

It is likely that Stationery printers were asked to create playbills and tickets for the event. Often, individuals like to put these keepsake items into scrapbooks to remember the experience.

Shows will take place on January 16 at 7:30 pm, January 17 at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm, and January 18 at 2:00 pm. Brunish Theatre can be found inside Antoinette Hatfield Hall, located on 1111 Southwest Broadway.
